The four men in the Boogie Woogie Gang were members of the first blues and boogie woogie band in Austria and have been carrying the name since 1970. For more than fourty years the Gang has been playing the blues style in all its facets however prefers early New Orleans jazz and standards enriched with numerous original compositions and excursions into the world of Klezmer-Musik. The Boogie Woogie Gang was the opening act for the concert “Legends of Jazz“. The tour route of these musician reaches from many european countries over Egypt, Canada, the USA, and Brazil. Thanks to the authentic care taken with New Orleans jazz they are also honorary citizens of the city of New Orleans.
